Hillsdale Park in Dormont has a stunning new seasonal art installation by Pittsburgh artist Joshua Ruffing. The towering metal flowers and whimsical creatures are an inspiring sight to see!

His vision for “The Wizard’s Looking Glass Court” seeks to “create art that is long lasting and radiates a sense of equality, fun and peace. His sculptures represent a space where all are welcome without fear of judgement.”

We are truly grateful to everyone who made this happen from start to finish during the two year planning of this install.

Thank you Kristen Ruffing for all your support throughout this venture, to Jen Koehler of Dormont Arts for taking care of every detail and helping to bring Josh’s vision to life. To Rob Koehler, Sam Koehler, Daniele Ventresca, Tom Ventresca, and Jen Koehler for all the weeding, mulching, and additional prep work. To the Borough of Dormont for co-championing this shared vision to bring public art to our community. And to Hannah Balash, Daniele Ventresca, and Josh Ruffing for your beautiful words during the event.

The Wizard’s Looking Glass Court is on view at Hillsdale Park in Dormont every year April through October. Go see it.
