Dormont Arts is a 509(a)(2) (purly public charity) based in Dormont, PA. We engage and unite the community by cultivating creative experiences of art, nature and music. What began in 2021 as neighbors connecting through music has grown into a thriving organization that now hosts festivals, performances, workshops, and community programs fostering creativity, inclusivity, and connection.

What Do We Do?
Each year, Dormont Arts engages more than 3,500 residents through events and programs that celebrate the arts in all its forms. From our annual Art in the Park outdoor festival to the live music and storytelling of our Songs and Stories series, the cultivation of the Dormont Community Garden, and our fiber arts and photo clubs, we make art accessible, community-oriented, and fun for everyone in Dormont.

Join us for a free, drop-in session to share your stitching projects and enjoy the company of fellow crafters. Bring your own knitting, crocheting, embroidery, beading, or any other fiber arts project. Let’s gather and craft together!
Dormont Community Garden Wednesdays
Every Wednesday from May until September @ 6:30pm – 8pm
Location: 1444 Hillsdale Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15216
Join us weekly to help maintain the community garden. Tasks include watering, weeding, mowing, etc.
