What Is Dormont Arts?

Hi! We are Dormont Arts, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit arts organization operating in Dormont, PA!

Dormont Arts engages and unites the community by cultivating creative experiences of art, nature and music. We host a variety of large and small events, outdoor and coffee house programs, and other initiatives that foster creativity, inclusivity, and community engagement.

What began as a way for neighbors to connect through music expanded into a larger group effort, leading to the creation of Dormont Arts in 2021.

In 2025, we look forward to bringing back popular events like Art in the Park, fostering growth in the Dormont Community Garden, and partnering with local creatives and organizations to bring art and music to the community. Please join us!

What Do We Do?

Our 2025 programming includes a variety of events, ranging from our Songs & Stories Series, a vibrant salon series that celebrates literature, drama, and live music, to Art in the Park, our signature outdoor arts festival. Other opportunities include our CoronaChoir 5th Anniversary Celebration, Dragula: Halloween Drag Bingo, seasonal growth in the Dormont Community Garden, plus our creator clubs like Stitch & B*tch and Focus on Dormont, our new photography club.

Our programs have reached over 3500+ residents annually. Whether it’s through art exhibits, workshops, performances, or community gardens, we’re committed to making art accessible and impactful for everyone in Dormont.
